-Eyecopia Schedules-
Eyecopia uses schedules for both specifying when to monitor a camera and when to notify contacts about Eyecopia events. Although monitor and notify schedules are completely separate, the process of creating and editing a schedule for these two purposes is identical.
Accessing the Edit Schedule window
To open the Edit Schedule dialog window, you need to either create a new schedule or edit an existing schedule. Please read how to do so for monitoring schedules or notification schedules.
The Edit Schedule Layout
Familiarize yourself with the layout of the schedule editor. Days are represented horizontally and timeslots in half-hour increments are represented vertically. The editor starts with Sunday at 12:00-12:30 AM in the upper left corner and ends with Saturday at 11:30-12:00 AM in the lower right corner. You will notice that as you move your cursor over the grid, the selected time period will become highlighted and the selected time interval will be displayed in the grid.
Add a new time period to a schedule
To add a time period to your schedule, use your cursor to click and drag an area. When doing so, the selected area will turn orange and the timefrane for the selected area will be displayed in the top left corner of the selection. A screenshot of adding a time period is shown on the right. Once you have highlighted the desired time period, let go of the mouse button and the selected area will turn green. You may add as many additional time periods as you like using this method. When you are done editing your schedule, be sure to click OK to save the changes.
Remove a time period from a schedule
If you would like to remove a time interval that is currently included in the schedule (green), click and drag over the time period you want removed from the schedule. You will see the time period turn light green. Once you are sure you have the right time period selected, let go of the mouse button and the selection will be removed from the schedule. The image on the top demonstrates a schedule with the 12-1 PM hour removed from a common workday schedule. When you are done editing your schedule, be sure to click OK to save the changes.
