Eyecopia 2.0 Help System
-Installing Eyecopia on Your Computer-
Follow these steps to install Eyecopia on your computer
- If you do not have the install program yet, download the Eyecopia application from our company website. The install also includes the Eyecopia Remote program.
- From your download folder location, click on the install program labeled EyecopiaSetup.exe.
- The install program will walk you through several steps. The program
will present the End User License Agreement as
the first step of the install program. Please read the EULA carefully
before accepting. You may not install the software if you do not accept
this agreement. Click Next to continue with the installation.
You may also view the EULA at anytime from within the Eyecopia Help System.
- The program will ask where you would like the application stored on your computer. The default location is within your Program Files folder on your main drive, usually C. If you would like, you can select the Browse button to select your desired location. Then click Next to continue with the installation.
- The install will offer options to select which components of Eyecopia you would like installed. You can choose not to install desktop shortcuts for Eyecopia and Eyecopia Remote and the Auto Start option if you would prefer. Select the components you want by clicking the appropriate checkbox. Then click Install to proceed with the installation.
- After the program is installed, you will be presented with options to open Eyecopia and the Eyecopia Help System immediately. Please select the options you want by clicking the appropriate checkbox.
- Click Finish to close the install program. Eyecopia is now fully installed on your computer and you are ready to try it out!
Eyecopia can now be opened by either clicking on the desktop shortcut or by going to Start > All Programs > Eyecopia > Eyecopia.
When the program is first opened, it will ask for your registration key. If you are evaluating the program for the trial and are not ready to purchase yet, just select the Continue button. If you have purchased the product, read more about Registering Eyecopia.
The first time Eyecopia runs following installation, you will be walked through the process of adding new cameras for monitoring. This process is described in Camera Installation.
