Eyecopia Introductory Tutorial
This is a great place to start after installing the software. The introductory tutorial walks you through a few basic steps and helps to familiarize yourself with the most used features of this innovative program.
A few quick pointers before starting the tutorial:
- An event is the word we use to describe when Eyecopia has created a video file from motion detected on a monitored camera.
- There are two types of buttons in the Eyecopia main interface, Toggle and Action buttons. When you click on Toggle buttons they switch state from off to on. When Toggle buttons are off, they are always light gray. When on they are always highlighted. When Action buttons are clicked it causes an action to take place, such as adding a new contact. Action buttons are highlighted if they can be used. If any button appears dark gray, it means that the particular action the button would invoke is not available due to another system setting or schedule.
Before starting the tutorial, make sure you have started the Eyecopia application. It may have started directly from the install program, if you selected this option. If not, you can open it by going to Start Menu > All Programs > Eyecopia > Eyecopia.
