Eyecopia Remote Connections
This part of the Notify page provides you a real-time Eyecopia Remote connection status of all contacts. The information that can be found here is described below.
- Name: The name of the contact who is connected is shown here.
- IP address: The address of any contacts that are currently logged on through Eyecopia Remote will be displayed here.
- Since: This displays the length of time a contact has been logged on.

Eyecopia Remote Connection Test
If you would like to test whether you have configured your network properly so that your contacts can connect using Eyecopia Remote, click on the Test button to run the Connection Diagnostic test. When the test is completed, it displays one of the status messages listed below. You can click on the Test button to rerun the diagnostic test at any time.
Eyecopia Remote Connection Status
Directly under the heading, you will find a status message that will help you determine if your computer and network are configured properly so that your contacts will be able to connect to your Eyecopia server from a remote computer. There are three possible status messages:
This message means that you have not run the diagnostic test, so the status is currently unknown. Click on the Test button to run the Connection Diagnostic test.
This message means that you have properly configured your system to allow Remote connections. If your contacts have trouble connecting, the issue is most likely on their end.
This message means that you have not properly configured your network to allow Eyecopia Remote connections. Please consult the documentation for your router(s) regarding port forwarding. You may also want to visit our community forum for help with Eyecopia Remote.
