Camera Name

Identify the name of your camera device on this page of the Camera Setup Wizard. This name will appear next to each event generated by this camera. If you change your mind, you can always come back and adjust the camera's name later.

Camera Resolution

The amount of detail that your camera can capture is called the resolution, and is specified here in lines of resolution. If your camera allows multiple resolutions, you will find multiple settings displayed in this list. Some cameras will only have one option, and the drop-down box will be disabled.

Be aware that higher resolutions create larger video event files

Audio Selection

If your camera has a built-in microphone, it will appear in this list. When you select an audio device from the list, future events will contain both sound and video. If you do not wish to record audio, select the No audio for this camera option.

If you wish to adjust the settings for the microphone, click the Options button. The settings available vary by manufacturer.
