Eyecopia 2.0 Help System

-Eyecopia Time Filters-

Time filters work with the Eyecopia Category feature to make it a snap to organize and find events. Time filters can be found on both the Monitor and Archive pages. On the Monitor page, they work with the categories to filter the events displayed in the Event Inbox. On the Archive page, the time filters work with the categories to sort events to be added to the Archive Session for archive creation.

There are two types of time filters used in Eyecopia, time buttons and the calendar. They cannot be used in combination. Clicking on any of the time buttons or on any day in the calendar will override the previous time filter.

Using the Calendar

Calendar

Using the calendar gives you the most flexibility in viewing events according to a certain time period. This feature also works with Category buttons to filter the events shown. When you click on a day, events will be restricted to only those which occurred on that day. Remember, if you are currently using the Category Search mode on the Monitor page, the events displayed will only be those that match the selected categories and the date you selected.

You can select individual days by clicking on the day you want or select multiple days at once by clicking and dragging your mouse over a set of days. You can use the arrows on the top of the calendar to switch between months.

The calendar identifies days when events were created by using a bolder text and a white background. The current day is highlighted.
