This page describes the features located at the top of the main Eyecopia interface.

Eyecopia Title Bar

Like most programs, Eyecopia's title bar provides the title of the application and the ability to minimize, maximize, or close the application window. However, due to Eyecopia's monitoring functionality, the program does not stop when the main application window is closed. Instead, you can close the program by either of the following methods:

• Hold the CTRL key down when closing the main interface window with the close icon () in the top right corner
• Right-click the Eyecopia icon in the system tray and select the option to Close Eyecopia.

The Eyecopia toolbar provides you with many convenient options:

Monitor Override

This feature allows you to conveniently turn on and off Eyecopia's monitoring of all active cameras. This has the side effect, of course, of stopping any event notifications from occurring. This is an easy way to be sure that no one is receiving notifications or is connected through Eyecopia Remote to your monitoring system. The button reflects the current state of the option. If the button is ON, clicking it will turn off monitoring. If the button is OFF, clicking it will turn on monitoring according to your monitoring schedule.

Notifications Override

This feature allows you to conveniently turn on and off all outgoing notifications from Eyecopia at once. The button reflects the current state of the option. If the button is ON, clicking it will turn off notifications. If the button is OFF, clicking it will turn on notifications according to scheduled activity.

Web Publishing Override

This feature allows you to conveniently turn on and off all web publishing notifications from Eyecopia at once. The button reflects the current state of the option. If the button is ON, clicking it will turn off web publishing. If the button is OFF, clicking it will turn on web publishing according to scheduled activity.

Register Eyecopia

If you have purchased a license of Eyecopia, you will have received your license key in an email. Clicking on the Register button in the toolbar will start the registration process. Read more about the registration process here. If you have already registered, the Register button will no longer appear.

About Eyecopia

You may access information about the Eyecopia program by selecting the About button. Selecting the About button will open a dialog window displaying the following information:

• Eyecopia version number
• Installation date
• Copyright information
• A link to our community forum
• A link to our support email address
• Our fax support phone number
• Your license information, if you are registered

Eyecopia Help Icon

You can use the help icon () to open the Eyecopia Help System. By clicking on the help icon and then clicking on an area of the program, you will open the Eyecopia Help System to a topic explaining that feature.

You can also open context-specific help by clicking on the feature or area you would like more information on and pressing the F1 key

If you just want to open the Eyecopia Help System directly, just double-click on the help icon ().
