-Eyecopia Troubleshooting-

If you encounter a problem while using Eyecopia, please review the following information. Keep in mind, there are basically two types of issues:

  • Something you think should be happening, but it's not
  • Something you think should not be happening, but it is

This does not always mean that there is an issue with Eyecopia. It may be due to system configuration, software version, or hardware incompatibility. Our first recommendation is to always make sure you have the following:

  • The latest version of Eyecopia installed on your computer. Eyecopia will check for updates automatically each day
  • The appropriate version of the required system components. This includes the Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 and the Windows Media Format 9 Series Runtime
  • The appropriate system hardware. Please read about our system requirements to verify that Eyecopia will operate on your system
  • Camera device(s) that are VfW or WDM compatible, if applicable
