-Eyecopia Troubleshooting: Not Creating Events-

"Eyecopia is not creating events"

If Eyecopia is not creating events and delivering them to your Event Inbox, please check the following:

  1. Event Inbox

  2. Check that the Monitor Override toggle button is set to ON
  3. If a monitoring schedule is in use, make sure that the camera schedule is currently active. You can quickly check this by looking at the status icon in the live view.
  4. Check that your motion detection settings are set to an acceptable sensitivity. The sensitivity meter under the live view of the Setup page demonstrates what motion needs to occur for Eyecopia to create an event. When the highlighted bar exceeds the limit bar, enough motion exists to create an event. Motion beneath this limit is ignored
  5. If you still unable to receive events when you think you should, please send in an error report
