Eyecopia 2.0 Help System
-Eyecopia Troubleshooting: Video Playback Issues-
"I'm having problems playing Eyecopia videos"
If the video position indicator freezes soon after the video begins, causing an Eyecopia event to not play back, it is probable that there are actually issues when Eyecopia attempts to record events. This could be because of a problem with the camera itself, the Windows Media subsystem, or some other system issue (low memory, etc).
If an event plays back, but there are artifacts within the video frame, such as a ghosted overlay in purple and green, it is likely that your display drivers need to be updated. Some video adapter display drivers do not handle the video playback appropriately and will overlay the image on the screen incorrectly. You can verify this behavior by emailing the event to another PC and attempting to play the video on the other computer. If it plays correctly on the second computer, than it is an issue with your video driver.
