Playing Event Videos in Eyecopia

The video navigation buttons under the video window are similar to most video player controls. There are also several shortcuts and special features that can be used when playing videos within Eyecopia.

Play/Pause Toggle

To start or pause a video clip, choose from the following options:

• Click on the or button. This is the same button; it alternates depending on the state of the selected event
• Press the spacebar
• Use a single left button click within the video window

Fast Forward Toggle

To fast forward through a video clip, click the button. Click the button again to resume normal speed.

You can also use your mouse wheel to rewind or move forward in an event, while the event is either playing or paused

Previous Clip

To move to the previous clip in the Event Inbox (up the list when it is in default time order), choose from the following options:

• Click on the button
• Press the Up Arrow, in normal mode
• Press Ctrl + Left Arrow keys, in full screen or normal mode

Next Clip

To move to the next clip in the Event Inbox (down the list when it is in default time order), choose from the following options:

• Click on the button
• Press the Down Arrow, in normal mode
• Press Ctrl + Right Arrow keys, in full screen or normal mode

Stop Video

To stop playing a video, choose from the following options:

• Click on the button
• Press the Esc key. This will also return to the Monitor page from full screen mode

Repeat Video

When the is on, the current video will play in a loop. If AutoPlay is turned on at the top of the Event Inbox, individual videos will not repeat, instead it will loop through all events listed.

Full Screen Mode

To view a video in full screen mode, either press Alt + Enter or double-click within the video window. To exit full screen mode, repeat the option listed or press Esc.

Event Video Playback Keyboard Shortcuts

The following shortcuts are available to assist you while watching Eyecopia video events.

Reset to start of video event

To return to the beginning of a video event, use right-click within the video window

Skip back one second in video

Press the Left Arrow key

Skip ahead one second in video

Press the Right Arrow key

Skip back one tenth of a second in video

Press the Shift + Left Arrow key

Skip ahead one tenth of a second in video

Press the Shift + Right Arrow key
