Eyecopia Remote 2.0 Help System

-How to connect to a new Eyecopia server-

This guide assumes that Eyecopia Remote has already been successfully installed on your computer. Follow these steps to complete this activity:

  1. When you first open the Eyecopia Remote application after installation, the program will display the Add Server page, shown to the right. If there is already at least one Eyecopia server available in Eyecopia Remote and you are trying to add another server, simply click the Add button in the Eyecopia Remote toolbar. This will change the interface to the Add Server page.
  2. To successfully add a new server you need to enter the name of the server, and the username/password combination exactly as it was given to you by the owner of the Eyecopia server you are trying to add.
  3. When you are done entering your contact and server information, click on the Connect button. Select the Cancel button if you do not have all of the right information.
  4. Now, select the Setup tab and check the status of the Eyecopia server you just added. You will see an icon and message displayed that will let you know if you successfully connected and whether the server you added is active or not.
  5. Select the live view page and watch the Live View of the new Eyecopia server camera(s). Congratulations, you are now connected!
