Eyecopia Remote 2.0 Help System
-Eyecopia Remote's Introductory Tutorial-
This is a great place to start after installing the software. This introductory tutorial walks you through a few basic steps and helps familiarize you with the most used features of this innovative program. Faster than you can drink a cup of coffee, you'll have Eyecopia Remote connected and interacting with other Eyecopia servers.
A few quick pointers before starting the tutorial:
- Make sure you have opened the Eyecopia Remote application. It may have started immediately after installing the program, if you selected this option. If not, you can open it by going to Start menu > All Programs > Eyecopia > Eyecopia Remote.
- It may be useful to quickly look over the Eyecopia Remote Glossary to get to know some terms we use in this help system. Although we have made great efforts to remove technical jargon from this help system, there are still some words or phrases that may not be readily understood without some background knowledge.
- There are two types of buttons in the Eyecopia main interface, Toggle and Action buttons.
- When you click on Toggle buttons they switch states between on and off. When these buttons are off, they are always light gray. When on, they are always highlighted.
- When Action buttons are clicked, it causes an action to take place, such as sending an email. Action buttons are highlighted if they can be used. If an Action button is dark gray, it means that the particular action the button would cause is not available at this time.
