Eyecopia Remote 2.0 Help System

-Eyecopia Remote's Notify Page-

Click directly on the image to explore that part of Eyecopia Remote!

The main purpose of the Notify page is to show you all the events that have occurred on cameras that are being monitored by connected Eyecopia servers.

Notification Information

The Notify page displays the following information:

  • The date and time that the event occurred
  • The name of the camera that captured the event
  • The name of the server that is monitoring that camera
  • An image of the beginning of the event, with the area where motion was detected highlighted in a green circle

Email Link

The Notify page also provides a convenient feature that allows you to individually select the event videos that you want emailed to you. If you select this option, you will see an Email Request message that includes the time of the request.

If the email was successfully sent, you will see a new Email Sent message, displaying the time the email was sent. This message will remain visible even if you switch back and forth between events, using the navigation features discussed below.

Event Notification Navigation

In addition to the notification information, you may also use the Notify page to quickly review all event notifications by using the navigation buttons at the bottom of the window.

  • To go to an earlier event notification, select the <Back button.
  • To go to a newer event notification, select the Next> button.
  • To go to the very first event notification available, select the << button. Eyecopia Remote will remember events up to 24 hours; however, if the program is closed the event list will be cleared.
  • To go to the very latest event notification available, select the > button.

The navigation buttons will be highlighted if you can carry out their intended action. If the button is dark gray, it is disabled and cannot be used. For example, when you receive a new event, the display will always jump to the latest event. The two navigation buttons on the right will therefore be disabled, because there is no newer event to display.
